About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and update the Advertising Waterfall model to track impression volumes, pricing yields, and digital revenue trends.
  • Prepare month-end financial analysis comparing actual performance against forecasts, prior year results, and geographical brands.
  • Partner with Ad Operations and BI teams to evaluate inventory capacity, streamline manual inputs, and uncover revenue opportunities.
  • Support the production of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and ongoing financial estimates.
  • Review month-end management accounts covering Display Advertising revenue and associated cost of sales.
  • Collaborate across Finance and operational teams to evaluate risks, opportunities, and reporting accuracy.
  • Build and refine financial models using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare month-end performance summaries and work with BI teams to enhance data reporting.
  • Provide clear financial analysis and guidance across operational teams.
  • Evaluate impression volumes, pricing yields, and audience metrics across UK and US markets to guide commercial strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial finance, financial modelling, or data analysis within a commercial environment.
  • Full qualification or active progress toward an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in managing large datasets and building financial models using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and resolve operational queries.
  • Collaborative communication skills with a proven track record of building positive relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • A curious, proactive approach to financial analysis with a focus on process improvement.
  • Commercial finance experience or background analysing revenue, cost, or audience metrics.
  • Experience building financial models or working with complex datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from our Bath head office on a hybrid basis (2–3 days per week).
  • Practical understanding of forecasting, budgeting, or month-end reporting processes.
