About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead technical execution and full lifecycle ownership for partner integrations
  • Collaborate with external partners, lead developers, and compliance teams
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance REST APIs handling XML, JSON, and SOAP
  • Oversee code releases and production deployments
  • Manage partner integration lifecycles from initial discovery through live, zero-downtime deployment
  • Provide architectural guidance and conduct code reviews focused on scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Refine development processes and champion Test-Driven Development across the SDLC
  • Use Copilot and Claude to accelerate integration testing and debugging
  • Translate complex technical issues into clear insights for executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Mentor engineering team members and guide deployment strategies
  • Ensure solutions align with FCA security standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive software engineering experience with a proven track record of leading high-impact projects and cross-functional teams
  • Expert-level proficiency in C# and SQL Server
  • Deep experience with RESTful design and legacy protocols such as SOAP
  • Ability to design and implement development workflows, including CI/CD improvements, branching strategies, or agile ceremonies
  • Practical experience managing production deployments and overseeing the Definition of Done
  • Experience conducting formal code reviews and career coaching for junior and mid-level developers
  • Experience implementing Test-Driven Development at a team-wide level
  • Experience with XML and JSON data formats
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Claude
  • Ability to work in alignment with FCA security standards
