About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the strategic day-to-day lead for a portfolio of GEO campaigns
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of UK-based GEO clients
  • Lead regular client meetings, performance reviews and strategic discussions
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on SEO and emerging search visibility
  • Translate complex SEO and GEO concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Guide clients through the evolving search landscape and explain campaign performance and outcomes
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and aligned to agreed objectives
  • Analyse campaign performance and visibility trends across traditional and AI-powered search environments
  • Monitor ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode visibility trends
  • Interpret data and insights to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Work with the optimisation team to develop and implement recommendations
  • Help clients understand how authoritative content is surfaced in AI-powered search experiences
  • Monitor developments across search and generative AI platforms and share relevant insights
  • Contribute to GEO best practices
  • Support new business opportunities through GEO expertise in pitches and proposals
  • Produce analysis and insight for prospective client opportunities
  • Work with commercial teams to articulate campaign approaches and expected outcomes
  • Support long-term client success through effective campaign delivery and clear communication of results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an SEO-focused role
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimisation and search performance measurement
  • Experience presenting SEO insights, recommendations and performance updates to clients or senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using industry-standard SEO tools including GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, peec.ai, Screaming Frog and similar platforms
  • Confidence analysing data and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • An interest in AI, emerging search experiences and the future of content discovery
  • Experience managing multiple projects or client relationships simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in an environment where experimentation, learning and iteration are key
  • This is a hybrid role, working three days per week from either our Cardiff or Bath office (depending on your location)
