About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work autonomously toward objectives that have been set
- Review feature or content specifications and create test plans
- Review feature or content health and report accordingly
- Investigate high-risk bugs and provide risk assessments to help prioritization during bug triage
- Mentor and help develop junior team members
- Contribute to and help develop internal QA processes
- Work closely with developers and producers to identify issues early and improve QA processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in games QA, preferably at a game development studio
- Exceptional communication and organisation skills
- Experience with all, or most PC and console gaming platforms
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans
- A solid understanding of the game development process
- Candidates must have a valid UK work visa
- Desirable: Strong knowledge of the PowerWash Simulator franchise
- Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo certification requirements
- Desirable: Experience co-ordinating internal and external QA teams
- Desirable: At least one title supported from concept to release
