Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications
Deliver beautiful, performant customer interfaces driven by the design system
Improve the performance and observability of services and applications
Improve team and business quality of life through automation, process improvement or new technologies
Collect, process, verify and serve large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments
Interact with stakeholders across the business and the immediate engineering team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Based in the Mexico City region for periodic in-person meet-ups
Ability to write Golang services and web app backends and deploy them in Docker containers
Ability to build componentised application frontends in React/TypeScript
Ability to write performant SQL
Understanding of clean code principles and TypeScript and Go idioms
Ability to review code and establish team quality standards
Willingness to learn and engage with a new business domain and product
Ability to communicate complex topics to peers
Ability to discuss how you learn and improve your skills
Experience with concurrent logic, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, AI tools, MaterialUI, Airflow, Python or Terraform is helpful but not essential
