About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standards
- Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation
- Prepare product for testing by safely making required connections
- Perform repetitive electrical testing preparation and testing tasks of basic complexity
- Separate non-conforming parts
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed
- Contribute to team effort by training others in testing tasks as needed
- Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements before passing it to the next operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- Ideally 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to safely use small hand and power tools
- Able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
- Basic computer skills
- Able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English
- Able to meet Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level requirements
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally floor to waist with assistance
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently floor to waist
- Able to carry up to 40 pounds occasionally up to 25 feet
- Able to push/pull up to 40 pounds frequently
- Able to push/pull more than 40 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Able to perform continuous standing and walking
- Able to perform frequent bending/stooping, squatting/kneeling, and lifting
- Able to perform continuous gripping, manipulation, and fingering
- Able to perform frequent variable hand/power tool use
- Able to perform two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing
