About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standards
- Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation
- Prepare product for testing by safely making required connections
- Separate non-conforming parts
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed
- Train others in testing tasks as needed
- Inspect all work and ensure it meets requirements before passing it to the next operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- Ideally 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally from floor to waist with assistance
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently from floor to waist
- Ability to carry up to 40 pounds occasionally up to 25 feet
- Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to push/pull more than 40 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Continuous standing and walking
- Frequent bending/stooping, squatting/kneeling, lifting, and variable hand/power tool use
- Continuous gripping, manipulation, and fingering
- Ability to perform two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling, and pushing
- Must understand verbal instructions in English
- New hires participate in the E-Verify process
