About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standards
- Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation
- Prepare product for testing by safely making required connections
- Perform repetitive electrical testing preparation and basic-complexity testing tasks
- Separate non-conforming parts
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed
- Contribute to team effort by training others in testing tasks as needed
- Inspect all work to ensure it meets requirements before passing it to the next operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- Ideally 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull specified weights, including use of assistive devices
- Ability to perform continuous standing and walking, frequent bending/stooping, squatting/kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to perform gripping, manipulation, fingering, and variable hand/power tool use
- Participation in two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing
- Must meet Medium-Heavy Physical Demand Level requirements
