About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
  • Ideally 6+ months of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor regarding manufacturing processes
  • Ability to operate a variety of machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Ability to carry up to 40 pounds occasionally up to 25 feet
  • Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Ability to push/pull more than 40 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to perform continuous standing and walking, frequent bending/stooping, squatting/kneeling, and lifting
  • Ability to perform continuous gripping, manipulation, and fingering
  • Ability to perform frequent variable hand/power tool use
  • Ability to perform two-person tasks using assistive lifting, pulling, and pushing devices
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; G&W Electric participates in E-Verify for all new hires
