About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand the workflows of prospective and existing customers relating to tendering, estimating and construction costs
Analyze requirements and develop suitable solutions using the software
Present CaliforniaX online, in Essen or at customer sites in the Ruhr region using specific use cases
Advise and support customers from their initial inquiry, through the appropriate proposal, to the purchasing decision
Maintain customer relationships after the sale and identify further support needs
Combine practical construction expertise with software solutions for tendering and estimating, cost planning and construction cost control

Requirements

What you’ll need

Practical experience with tendering and estimating, cost planning or construction cost management
Experience with bills of quantities, tendering and contract award, cost tracking, or measurement and invoice checking
Experience as an architect, civil engineer, construction technician or in a comparable role at an architectural or engineering firm, construction authority or construction department
A specific degree is not required
Enjoy listening, asking questions and explaining technical relationships clearly
Interest in software and improving workflows
Independent and reliable working style
Willingness to attend customer meetings on site
Very good written and spoken German
Experience with tendering and estimating software is an advantage
Willingness to learn CaliforniaX as well as consulting and sales responsibilities
