About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Support the development and monitoring of KPIs for business areas
- Perform data queries, extraction, processing, and validation
- Develop and maintain SQL queries
- Use Power Query and DAX to build and enhance BI solutions
- Support data integration, transformation, and delivery processes
- Support the enhancement of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Contribute to Data Engineering and Data Governance initiatives
- Monitor the quality and consistency of published information
- Document KPIs, data sources, business rules, and developed solutions
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Power BI – Dashboard and report development and maintenance
- Power Query – Data processing, transformation, and integration
- DAX – Creation of measures, calculations, and KPIs
- SQL – Data querying, extraction, and manipulation
- Data Modeling – Relationships, dimensional modeling, and information organization
- Data Engineering – Basic knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, processing, and delivery
- ETL/ELT – Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
- Data Pipelines – Basic understanding of creating, running, and monitoring data flows
- Microsoft Fabric – Basic or preferred knowledge of Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI integration
- Data Governance – Concepts of data quality, integrity, availability, security, and control
- Data Quality – Identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and discrepancies in information
- Data Documentation – Documentation of data sources, KPIs, business rules, and transformation processes
- KPIs and Business Metrics – Ability to support the development and monitoring of business indicators
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel – Formulas, pivot tables, data processing, and analysis
- Power Apps – Basic knowledge of creating and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform
- Power Automate – Basic knowledge of creating and maintaining workflows
- Microsoft Azure – Basic understanding of key data and integration services
- Data Security and Access Control – Basic knowledge of permissions, sharing, and information protection
- Technical English – Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Analytical mindset, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and an interest in understanding business processes and departmental needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
