About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance routines, user functions, entry points, reports, screens, and processes in ADVPL/TLPP
Customize and improve the Protheus HR module, including employee records, payroll, vacation, termination, 13th-month salary, earnings and deductions, entries, electronic timekeeping, benefits, and statutory reports
Develop and maintain integrations between Protheus HR and corporate and third-party systems using REST APIs, WebServices, files, Schedule, and Jobs
Support the adaptation of routines to legal and labor requirements, including eSocial, ancillary obligations, collective bargaining agreements, and legislative changes
Apply updates and releases and validate customization compatibility after updating the RPO and data dictionary
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents and support requests involving the HR module and ADVPL customizations
Use logs, debugging, and SQL queries to mitigate risks and ensure operational continuity
Participate in implementation projects, enhancements, and new HR processes
Support requirements gathering, estimates, timelines, and demand delivery
Perform unit and integration testing, code reviews, and version control across environments
Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation, perform impact analyses, and support knowledge transfer to the support team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in software development
At least 2 years of experience with ADVPL in a TOTVS Protheus environment
At least 1 year of experience in projects, customizations, or support of the Protheus HR module
Experience handling requests in production environments and interacting with business users (HR / Payroll and Personnel Administration)
Strong knowledge of programming logic and ADVPL
Knowledge of user functions, entry points, MVC development, FWFormBrowse, custom screens, TReport, Embedded SQL, MsExecAuto, Jobs, and Schedule
Functional and technical knowledge of the Protheus HR module, including payroll, vacation, termination, 13th-month salary, payroll charges, electronic timekeeping, benefits, and HR tables
Knowledge of eSocial and ancillary HR obligations
Advanced user-level knowledge of the Protheus data dictionary (SX), environment configuration, RPO, and AppServer
Knowledge of REST APIs, WebServices (FWRest / WsRestFul), and system integrations
Knowledge of relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
Experience with TOTVS Developer Studio or VS Code (TDS-VSCode)
Experience with Git (Azure DevOps or GitLab)
Knowledge of Scrum / Kanban, development best practices, documentation, and testing
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Software Engineering, IT Management, or a related field (preferred)
TOTVS courses or certifications in ADVPL/TLPP and/or Protheus People Management (preferred)
