About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a maintenance route or crew at the Danville location
- Report to the Account Manager and client
- Complete written client requests and work orders
- Communicate verbally with the client in English
- Perform plant identification and sensitivity assessment
- Conduct crew performance evaluations
- Manage irrigation using soil probes, visual site reviews, and controller programming
- Perform lateral repairs and head adjustments/repairs
- Complete chemical-use, pest-control, disease-identification, and material-use reports
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain responsibility for the vehicle
- Complete incident and vehicle accident reports
- Maintain tool and equipment inventory
- Review and sign time cards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Standards All Maintenance Level-III Competencies
- Leads a Route or Crew
- Written client requests in English
- Verbal communications with client in English
- Plant ID & Sensitivity (75%)
- Performance evaluations – crew
- Water management using soil probe and visual site review
- Written controller programming/remote use
- Water management: program controller, soil probe and visual site review
- Lateral repair (100%)
- Head adjustment and repair (100%)
- Chemical use report
- Pest control work order
- Disease identification
- Material use report
- Driver's license and safe driving record
- Vehicle inspection and responsibility
