About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist engineers in developing project deliverables for clients
- Support the Power Delivery Engineering Business Sector on projects
- Prepare and conduct detailed reviews of project deliverables
- Coordinate with staff in four other offices
- Prioritize work based on client schedules and needs
- Update client and internal tracking spreadsheets
- Perform detailed QA/QC checks of project deliverables
- Prepare project-related documents according to client and/or GAI branding standards
- Assist with project QA/QC processes and procedures
- Perform special projects and other assigned tasks
- Create and maintain project-related forms and documents
- Answer questions about administrative best practices and procedures
- Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of projects occasionally
- Assist with project scopes, schedules, and plans
- Occasionally assign tasks to other administrative staff
- Mentor administrative and junior staff
- Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes
- Review work products and provide guidance to junior staff
- Interact with GAI staff, vendors, and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of related experience
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred
- Combination of experience, related coursework and/or education may replace the college degree requirement
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat skills
- Experience with large (100+ pages) documents
- Strong Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences
- Ability to coordinate with staff in multiple offices
- Ability to prioritize work based on client schedules and needs
- Driver’s License required
- Notary Public preferred
