Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, enhance, and modernize enterprise-scale Java, JavaScript, and database-driven healthcare applications
Develop and optimize complex SQL and AWS RDS solutions, including query tuning, indexing, execution-plan analysis, and application performance
Apply GitHub Copilot and advanced AI models across coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, code reviews, documentation, and technical analysis
Use AI models for complex problem solving, architecture, root-cause analysis, performance issues, and legacy-code analysis
Support REST APIs, healthcare integrations, and HL7 interfaces
Provide technical leadership through solution design, peer reviews, troubleshooting, mentoring, and engineering best practices
Design, develop, review, test, document, and implement complex Java, JavaScript, SQL, and database-driven solutions
Perform code and design reviews and promote modular, maintainable, secure, and testable software engineering practices
Provide complex technical and production support across application, database, and integration layers
Review technical specifications and recommend solutions for modernization, performance, scalability, reliability, and technical-debt reduction
Ensure AI-generated solutions are reviewed, tested, secured, and validated before implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ten or more years of application development or software engineering experience supporting complex enterprise applications
Advanced hands-on expertise in Java and JavaScript
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, application design, testing, debugging, and modern development practices
Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, PostgreSQL/Oracle, AWS RDS, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
Experience using GitHub Copilot and advanced AI models for coding, code analysis, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and technical problem solving
Strong experience with solution design, code reviews, technical specifications, complex troubleshooting, mentoring, and modernization of enterprise applications
Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation
