About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, install, test, and document applications software, including server, client, and web components
Design, document, and deliver technical architecture solution elements
Coordinate between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are accurate and deliver desired client ROI
Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed application solution designs for clients
Develop technical documentation and test plans supporting integration and deployment
Work closely with software developers to advance goals and objectives for Gainwell and its clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of Software Design, Development, and Application Support experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with C Batch, Unix/Linux, and SQL
On-call support experience preferred
Python experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Design Principles, Operating Systems, and Application Development Policies and Procedures
Web Services Development experience preferred
Proven programming and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to design, develop, and support solutions across multiple programming languages and environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation
