About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business challenges and help create innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions for health and human services outcomes
- Collaborate with business analysts to make client recommendations that improve business processes
- Translate client business needs and technical requirements into simpler non-technical language
- Analyze and document systems requirements and business processes
- Build basic conceptual data and process models to quantify potential system-change impacts
- Execute and analyze basic test case scenarios from existing test plans
- Participate in technical reviews and inspections with senior leaders
- Develop technical skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Visio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and triage bugs and defects
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in a professional work environment
- Interest in working at the intersection of the technical and non-technical and learning about business processes and re-engineering
- Ability to work in a team environment with other professionals
- Candidates located within commuting distance of Montgomery, Alabama may be expected to work from the office on an as-needed basis
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation
- Photo will be taken during screening for verification in all steps of the recruitment process
- Stable internet connection and quiet location for screenings, interviews, and meetings
