About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define, create, and convey the product development strategy
Drive the design, testing, and execution plan of multiple innovative products and services
Lead large, global product development projects with significant customer-facing and financial impact
Research current and new technologies to initiate, develop, revise, or improve products
Create strategic plans, convey vision, manage change, and motivate others
Define and launch new products and features using the company's platform and delivery capabilities
Collaborate with project management, development, and quality leaders on product roadmaps and plans
Articulate the company's product vision and guide continued development and growth
Lead development and project plans, resource allocation, and budgets
Identify and resolve strategic issues affecting strategic, financial, and technical goals
Develop strategic business relationships with key client decision makers
Evaluate product development processes, engineering design, quality practices, software estimation, coding standards, technical documentation, quality assurance, build, and configuration management
Define and steward data governance frameworks and processes
Leverage industry best practices, tools, and technologies
Establish and communicate goals, methodologies, tasks, activities, and personnel responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
Fifteen or more years of experience with technical product design, configuration, integration, and/or delivering products to market
Ten or more years in a supervisory or management capacity
Experience with the product development life cycle at all levels of complexity
Experience working with client enterprise products, services, and strategies, technical products, vendors, families of technologies and product configurations
Experience working with technology architecture, mainframes, scheduling software and other related technologies
Experience working with business environment, business industry and competitor products and services
