About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct operations of large or global account program management offices
  • Manage governance execution, process development and maintenance, project integration, and account performance monitoring
  • Direct global integrated client-facing performance measurement and reporting
  • Establish governance and related processes
  • Develop understanding of account and regional PMO organizations, governance structures, operating models, delivery objectives, resource models, and stakeholder relationships
  • Partner with Client Delivery Leads, Account Executives, PMO leaders, Operations, Finance, HR, and Delivery Leadership
  • Establish best practices, standardized governance processes, reporting frameworks, delivery methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure execution of executive reviews, status reporting, risk and issue management, escalation processes, and commitment tracking
  • Provide regional portfolio oversight and consolidated visibility into strategic programs, delivery performance, resource demands, risks, dependencies, and client obligations
  • Deliver actionable insights to leadership
  • Align PMO activities with growth objectives, modernization efforts, contractual commitments, and operational priorities
  • Evaluate PMO organizational effectiveness, resource capacity, talent development, and succession planning needs
  • Advise account and regional leadership through objective analysis, risk and opportunity identification, solution recommendations, and execution leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of program, portfolio, or delivery leadership experience
  • Experience across complex software implementations and production support
  • Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, pharmacy, or government technology
  • Proven accountability for large portfolios, budgets, and client implementations
  • Measurable results in delivery, program recovery, and operational improvement
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar products and environments quickly
  • Sound judgment and ability to take effective action with incomplete information
  • Experience directly leading PMs and delivery leaders
  • Demonstrated success coaching PMs and delivery leaders into greater capability and independent ownership
  • Expertise in integrated planning, capacity forecasting, release readiness, dependency management, and risk mitigation
  • Financial and operational judgment
  • Ability to align matrixed, offshore, and globally distributed teams
  • Ability to challenge commitments constructively and resolve conflict
  • Clear communication with executives and clients
