About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, programs, and general HR guidance
- Support employee relations matters, including employee concerns, issue resolution, performance documentation, and engagement initiatives
- Escalate complex employee relations issues as appropriate
- Provide guidance to managers on goal setting, feedback conversations, and development planning
- Support recruiting coordination, onboarding, internal transfers, and workforce planning activities
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, records, and case notes in accordance with company and confidentiality standards
- Compile and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support decision making and identify workforce trends
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to support deployment of HR programs and initiatives
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Maintain current knowledge of HR best practices, employment law updates, and organizational policies
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four years of relevant and qualified work experience in a specialty HR field may be considered equivalent to the bachelor’s degree requirement
- Three to five years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including generalist or HRBP support experience
- Demonstrated exposure to employee relations, performance management, and core HR processes
- Foundational knowledge of HR principles, policies, and U.S. employment laws and regulations
- Strong customer-service orientation and ability to build trust and collaborative relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to apply HR policies consistently and exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines
- Proficiency in HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop consulting and business-partnering skills
- Ability to work anywhere in the US
- Up to 10% travel required
- Occasional extended hours or availability outside normal business hours based on business needs
