About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and manage client relationships, with support from the Program Director, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Work with clients to design project approaches and develop service delivery plans
  • Oversee and manage contracts, products/services, or special projects
  • Monitor and report progress toward business goals to leadership
  • Manage, prepare, and monitor budget and revenue expectations for assigned clients
  • Potentially supervise additional account management staff, such as Program Specialists
  • Project manage across non-direct reports and recommend program changes as needed
  • Escalate risks quickly and implement risk mitigation solutions
  • Communicate with client, company, and project team leadership
  • Measure and share project metrics and status

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of relevant work experience in Medicaid without a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to train, guide and mentor junior colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain it within 1 year of being hired
  • Comfortable working hours aligned with the team in the Pacific Time Zone (US)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
