About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, write, edit, and proofread technical data for manuals, procedures, and specifications
- Write, organize, enter, and compile online help files supporting end users
- Create, compile, and deliver system/software development documentation packages
- Produce narratives, logic diagrams, input and output samples, input preparation instructions, and job setup information
- Use technical project team inputs, system requirements analyses, system design specifications, technical procedure development, configuration control requirements, test and training specifications, and programming notes
- Participate in quality reviews of various artifacts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
- Experience working with desktop publishing, word processing, and on-line documentation software
- Experience working with industry writing style such as grammar, sentence form, and structure
- Experience working with various software products
- Ability to grasp technical solutions and convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms
- Medicaid Experience preferred
- Technical writing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates are expected to have at-home reliable connectivity
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
