About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high-quality, comprehensive, evidence-based primary care via asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video
Provide care for Galileo patients managing complex and chronic illnesses through Galileo’s proprietary app and technology
Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients aged 0–100, including patients with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health needs
Work with a diverse patient population
Solve patient problems efficiently by drawing on resourcefulness and collaborating with team members
Work 4-hour shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight on weekdays and weekends
Work at least two 4-hour shifts each weekend in addition to weekday hours

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 24 hours/week
5+ years of advanced clinical experience in complex care, chronic care management, or primary care
Experience in or appetite for learning digital-first healthcare (e.g. virtual medicine)
Interest in innovative models of care balancing evidence-based approaches with creative ideas
Highly comfortable using technology and various applications to deliver care virtually
Experience with proprietary clinician-patient platform, Google Suite, and Slack
Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner
Active NP license in NY
Multi-licensed in other states preferred
Proficiency with written and spoken medical Spanish is a nice to have
