About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high-quality, comprehensive, evidence-based primary care through asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video
Provide care for patients aged 0–100, including complex and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health
Deliver care through Galileo’s proprietary app and technology using clinical judgment
Collaborate with the clinical care team and leverage data, technology, and operational rigor to optimize patient outcomes
Solve patient problems efficiently by collaborating with team members and leveraging their expertise
Work 4-hour shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight periods on weekdays and weekends
Work 10 hours per month for this Missouri-licensed physician opportunity

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of clinical experience post residency in complex care, chronic care management, or primary care
Experience in or appetite for learning digital-first healthcare (e.g. virtual medicine)
Interest in innovative models of care balancing evidence-based approaches with creative ideas
Highly comfortable using technology and various applications to deliver care virtually
Experience with proprietary clinician-patient platform, Google Suite, and Slack
Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active license in Missouri and ability to obtain additional licensure(s) in any state
Professional fluency in English/Spanish is a bonus, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting
