About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fabricate, trim, and finish composite aircraft components and assemblies
- Cut, place, and manipulate carbon fiber and fiberglass composite materials
- Sand, trim, and drill cured composite structures using hand tools
- Use measuring and inspection devices to ensure exact specifications
- Clean and inspect production tooling for acceptable use
- Apply body filler products
- Clean, prep, and release molds
- Sand and shape surfaces for primer and painting operations
- Use FOD prevention techniques continually
- Complete checklists for own work and check others’ work as necessary
- Comply with company safe-work policies
- Work frequently while walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, lying, and reaching
- Progress through Manufacturing Technician I, Manufacturing Tech II, and Lead Manufacturing Tech career paths
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting as required
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
- Preferred: 1–5 years of experience in aerospace, composites, or advanced manufacturing
- Preferred: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices
- Preferred: Experience with body shop/paint environment or tooling fabrication
- High intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, problem-solving ability, and demonstrated initiative
- High level of maturity and ability to work in a team setting or independently
- Willingness to help drive results
- Unquestionable ethics and personal integrity
- Passion for aircraft, flying, and aviation
- Must not require immigration sponsorship; Game Aerospace is unable to sponsor visas
