About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and resource the infrastructure team to foster a high-performance culture and hit project targets
- Design scalable hybrid roadmaps and Kubernetes-centric system architectures aligned with business goals
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation using Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployments
- Maintain performance, monitoring, and uptime across physical servers, networks, storage, and Kubernetes clusters
- Manage incident response and off-hours maintenance
- Partner with InfoSec to enforce security controls, run risk assessments, and maintain audit readiness
- Evaluate third-party tools and manage technology partner relationships to ensure strict SLA compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading infrastructure or operations teams
- Track record of establishing key operational metrics, including MTTR/MTTD, uptime SLAs, cloud spend optimization, and incident response frameworks
- Exceptional organizational, resource-allocation, and project management skills
- Deep knowledge of on-premises hardware, including physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, and enterprise networking
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
- Hands-on experience architecting and administering multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Kubernetes or cloud certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect are nice to have
- Linux, systems, and virtualization certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, VMware VCP-DCV, or legacy MCSA/MCSE are nice to have
- Networking and IT management certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or ITIL Foundation/Practitioner are nice to have
