About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide practical legal advice and administrative support to the Legal Department and wider business
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including B2B licensing, distribution and content supply agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and other commercial agreements
- Develop and maintain contract templates, standard clauses, contractual playbooks, and contracting procedures
- Oversee corporate governance and contract administration activities, including approvals, execution, and signature workflows using DocuSign and ApprovalMax
- Maintain accurate internal legal records and contract registers
- Improve legal tools and processes, including use of AI-powered legal tools
- Coordinate intellectual property administration, including trademark, copyright, design rights, patents, filings, and registrations
- Maintain IP portfolio records and monitor deadlines and renewals
- Support opposition and infringement matters with external advisers
- Liaise with the parent company’s Intellectual Property and Legal Department
- Conduct legal research and provide practical advice on contractual, intellectual property, and commercial matters
- Contribute to internal legal reporting and Legal Department projects
- Prepare corporate documentation and resolutions with the Corporate Planning department and Director of Legal & Compliance Affairs
- Collaborate with Regulatory and Technical Compliance teams on licensing and regulatory requirements across operating jurisdictions
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the Legal Lead and Director of Legal & Compliance Affairs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Corporate, Commercial, Technology, or Intellectual Property Law
- 3+ years of relevant in-house legal experience within a gaming or iGaming company, or a similar role within the entertainment, media, or technology industry
- Proven hands-on experience independently drafting and reviewing EU commercial and IP-related agreements
- Experience with software and content licensing agreements, B2B distribution and content supply agreements, NDAs, vendor and supplier agreements, and partnership agreements
- Experience developing and maintaining contract templates, standard clauses, and contractual playbooks
- Experience supporting in-house commercial teams with contract advisory support, deal execution, and wider business objectives
- Proven ability to act as a trusted legal adviser to internal stakeholders and international business functions
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in EU contract law, corporate law, and intellectual property law
- Experience with corporate governance matters, including preparing corporate documentation and resolutions and supporting internal corporate approval processes
- Sound understanding of the iGaming, technology, or entertainment industry
- Excellent written and spoken English at C2 level
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong organisational, analytical, and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal workloads and deadlines
- Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management, e-signature tools such as DocuSign, and AI-powered legal tools preferred
- Practical experience in intellectual property rights, including portfolio management, filings, registrations, and renewals preferred
- Experience supporting opposition and infringement matters in coordination with external advisers preferred
- Knowledge of employment law and experience supporting HR with employment-related legal matters preferred
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with international and cross-functional teams
