About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take ownership of trading operations and on-call coverage during APAC hours across vault strategy and curation teams
Monitor live vaults and strategies, investigate alerts, and identify unexpected behaviour or potential risks using internal dashboards and onchain data
Respond to operational incidents using established playbooks and escalate to relevant teams when needed
Work across timezones to improve operational processes, incident response procedures, and handovers
Track crypto and broader financial markets and share relevant developments with the team
Support Business Development in technical discussions with APAC partners, explain products, understand requirements, and explore new strategies
Improve tools, monitoring processes, and documentation supporting day-to-day operations
Support vault and strategy launches, especially during periods of increased market activity
Establish reliable APAC coverage and serve as a technical resource for regional partners and internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working directly with live financial markets, ideally in trading operations, execution, or a similar role at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, trading desk, or crypto trading business
Strong understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies
Ability to recognise unusual market behaviour and understand potential implications
Active interest in crypto and traditional financial markets
Good judgment under pressure and ability to investigate issues independently, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand trading strategies without necessarily being a software engineer or quantitative researcher
Excellent communication skills and experience explaining technical concepts to different audiences
Business fluency in both Mandarin and English
Nice to have: Experience with DeFi protocols, onchain trading, or digital asset strategies
Nice to have: Experience working with institutional clients or partners in a technical capacity
Nice to have: Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other tools used for data analysis and monitoring
Must be based in APAC / Singapore or Hong Kong location
