About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with Gauss Labs’ business objectives, including market mapping, job postings, candidate pipeline development, and pre-qualification.
- Build and maintain an external talent network and year-round pipelines for AI Scientist, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, and Software Engineer roles.
- Keep leaders informed about top talent in the market and arrange casual tea times.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely follow-up and well-organized, confirmed interviews.
- Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
- Manage complex scheduling with stakeholders, including HQ management, throughout the recruitment lifecycle via phone, video, in-person meetings, and travel.
- Perform recruiting administration, including documentation and maintaining applicant records.
- Independently manage talent acquisition in the Korean market and coordinate agencies in the US and Korea.
- Communicate directly with candidates in the US and Canada and manage the recruiting process from initial contact through completion.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering background preferred.
- At least 7+ years of experience within recruiting industry; understanding the IT industry is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage candidates and collaborate with internal clients.
- Good communication skills both in English and Korean.
