About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maximize the value, reliability, and continuous improvement of established SaaS platforms used by internal teams
  • Balance product enhancements with production stability, incident-driven priorities, technical health, vendor coordination, and evolving user needs
  • Establish clear product goals, order the backlog, evaluate outcomes, and ensure changes deliver measurable value
  • Build relationships across departments to understand business processes, user needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
  • Gather and clarify requirements with stakeholders, end users, and subject matter experts
  • Organize requests for prioritization based on business value, user impact, risk, dependencies, and organizational objectives
  • Maintain a clear backlog and roadmap covering enhancements, defects, operational improvements, and support-driven needs
  • Communicate priorities, requirements, constraints, and expected outcomes to stakeholders and vendors
  • Review vendor solutions, plans, estimates, dependencies, delivery progress, commitments, and service-level obligations; escalate gaps and risks
  • Coordinate QA and UAT for release readiness, including defect resolution, business impacts, communications, training, and support readiness
  • Monitor service performance, incidents, recurring defects, user feedback, and operational metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Review major incidents, root causes, corrective actions, and delivered outcomes with support, operations, and vendors
  • Maintain product knowledge and documentation, including goals, requirements, decisions, roadmap outcomes, and release notes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of Product Ownership experience
  • Experience with Agile Scrum practices
  • Ability to lead through influence, facilitate decisions, resolve competing priorities, and align business, technical, operational, and vendor stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex software behavior, reproduce issues, assess business impact, and coordinate diagnosis and resolution
  • Ability to create product artifacts including goals, roadmap outcomes, user stories, acceptance criteria, nonfunctional requirements, defects, operational improvements, and decision records
  • Ability to prioritize and organize customer feedback, product data, support cases, incident trends, and operational metrics
  • Customer-focused mindset with empathy, curiosity, sound judgment, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Proactive and adaptable; effective amid ambiguity, change, and deadline pressure
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship, including employer sponsorship for an H-1B visa or OPT-STEM employment
