About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the VP of International Government Relations and senior leadership to design comprehensive cross-business government relations strategies tailored to key global growth markets
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of political, regulatory, and competitive landscapes in target markets
  • Synthesize complex information from diverse sources into clear, executive-ready insights that inform strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with the International Government Relations team to identify emerging geopolitical opportunities and risks in target markets and translate those insights into actionable strategic initiatives
  • Support the VP of International Government Relations in the FLIGHT DECK transformation of the International Government Relations team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant in-house experience in a U.S. corporate environment, with demonstrated expertise in government relations, public policy, or related strategic functions
  • Ability to deliver high-quality strategic recommendations and presentations under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
  • Strong ability to quickly assimilate new information about unfamiliar markets, regulatory systems, and political dynamics
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies in complex international environments
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes and experience navigating diverse political systems
  • Demonstrated success working effectively in highly matrixed organizations and building influence without direct authority
  • Strong experience working in multicultural environments
  • Master's degree
  • Fluency in one or more languages in addition to English
