Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute Clear to Build transportation processes and standard work to transport, track, expedite, and deliver parts supporting engine build requirements
  • Receive, interpret, and prioritize overnight handoffs and convert them into a daily execution plan
  • Manage high-volume transportation activity and escalations
  • Identify inbound delivery risks for international and U.S. domestic shipments and drive resolution
  • Serve as a transportation escalation point for material availability, build readiness, and supply chain flow issues
  • Develop logistics solutions for urgent or non-standard transportation requirements
  • Maintain customs-related knowledge and partner with customs and transportation teams to support compliant movement
  • Coordinate with transportation providers, sourcing and fulfilment teams, and receiving facilities
  • Partner with the Clear to Launch team on inbound/outbound priorities, handoffs, escalations, and end-to-end execution
  • Use supplier performance metrics, operational data, and transportation visibility tools to identify gaps and support improvements
  • Support process improvement while maintaining daily execution and service continuity
  • Use AI, analytics, digital tools, and automation to improve decision making, visibility, process discipline, data quality, and cost performance
  • Support transportation quality and supplier performance improvements through recurring-issue identification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Champion regulatory, company policy, procedure, and EHS compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow
  • Hands-on responsibility for transportation planning and operational execution across international and domestic shipment flows
  • Experience managing transportation suppliers across complex regional networks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple issues concurrently, and make sound decisions in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical and process-development capability
  • Experience using data, metrics, and digital tools to manage performance and identify gaps
  • Working knowledge of customs processes and documentation relevant to international transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other digital tools used to support logistics operations
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, high-volume, rapid-response environment
  • Strong problem-solving capability, including identifying themes, escalating risks, and supporting corrective actions
  • Excellent organizational skills and discipline in managing competing priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
  • Willingness to be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
