About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a cross-functional team and direct reports through development and production introduction of the improved T901 turbine engine for the U.S. Army
- Align stakeholders to program milestones and ensure disciplined execution
- Develop and maintain the integrated product support plan for the T901 program
- Manage execution through qualification, entry into service, and transition to sustainment readiness
- Coordinate support activities across Support Equipment, Repair Engineering, Technical Publications, Reliability, Maintainability, Human Factors Engineering, Provisioning, Customer Training, and Maintenance Data Systems
- Develop cost and schedule planning estimates supporting internal and external Earned Value Management processes
- Drive visibility to risks, assumptions, and execution status
- Manage product and service development from concept through production introduction, ensuring supportability is designed-in and scalable
- Influence product support strategy, resource planning, and policy development
- Recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services
- Develop and implement the digital strategy for the T901 engine
- Assess incomplete or complex information and develop recommendations using multiple data sources
- Generate solutions addressing technical, schedule, and customer challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product support and/or product development
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or have granted asylee or refugee status), or obtain U.S. Government authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
