About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Sr Director, AI & Data Operations to the CDAIO/DSA leadership team and drive strategic AI deployment across the enterprise
- Own the connection between AI strategy, AI operations, and AI finance
- Lead executive operating rhythms, leadership calls, internal staff calls, and updates
- Define CDAIO success metrics, implement tracking aligned to Flight Deck Principles, assess stakeholder alignment, and recommend priority adjustments
- Maintain the stakeholder Voice of Customer rhythm and serve as the AI Communications interface
- Own scenario planning, quarterly AI strategy rhythms, report-outs, signposts, and related follow-ups
- Coordinate strategy artifacts including memos and slide decks and own artifacts presented to SALT
- Own governance, prioritization, and scaling processes for AI solution implementation across GE Aerospace
- Own the AI Control Tower product roadmap, including feature prioritization and alignment with platform leads and strategic goals
- Run the weekly operating rhythm with Control Tower and AI Health Check program managers, setting priorities and troubleshooting roadblocks
- Own budget prioritization and forecasting across the CDAIO organization, including accruals and project follow-up
- Manage talent operations, statements of work, requisitions, approvals, renewals, and sourcing/finance rhythms
- Own the hiring plan and hold leadership accountable for business cases and hiring deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR associate degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR high school diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Digital Technology Enterprise Business Operations
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, or chief-of-staff capacities, ideally supporting a senior executive or leadership team
- Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Ability to prove U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee
- Working knowledge of AI/data governance, portfolio management, or technology strategy in a large, matrixed organization
- Experience with budget management, requisition/procurement processes, and financial forecasting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level materials preparation
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence without direct authority
- Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or another regulated/complex industrial environment
- Familiarity with Flight Deck Principles or comparable operating models
- Experience supporting AI/ML program governance or an AI Center of Excellence
