About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead high-impact Future Vertical Lift (FVL) process transformation initiatives using FLIGHT DECK principles
  • Identify, design, and deploy improvements that simplify workflows and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Partner with process owners and business leaders to map current-state workflows, define future-state processes, and implement sustainable improvements
  • Conduct value stream analysis to identify waste and reduce complexity
  • Establish operating mechanisms, ownership, and performance measures to sustain improvements
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and digital solutions
  • Lead digital and AI-enabled solutions from ideation and proof of concept through implementation and adoption
  • Partner with Digital Technology and business stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, lineage, semantic structures, and governance alignment
  • Own training and communication strategies for transformation initiatives
  • Develop and deliver training for new processes, digital tools, and AI-enabled ways of working
  • Create communication plans, executive updates, and stakeholder messaging
  • Monitor adoption, training effectiveness, and business impact; adjust deployment strategies as needed
  • Collaborate across engineering, program, FLIGHT DECK, Digital Technology, and functional teams
  • Support governance, risk assessment, documentation, approval workflows, and implementation discipline for digital and AI-enabled solutions
  • Coordinate with privacy, security, compliance, and Cyber/CUI stakeholders where needed
  • Track solution performance and lead corrective actions to improve effectiveness, adoption, and sustainability
  • Contribute to the FLRAA program through effective change and risk management while collaborating with Bell and internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager within the Aerospace Industry
  • Strong process acumen and demonstrated success improving complex workflows, operating rhythms, and business execution
  • Demonstrated FLIGHT DECK impact, including measurable results in process improvement, standardization, waste reduction, or operational performance
  • Experience identifying and deploying AI, analytics, automation, or other digital solutions in support of business outcomes
  • Experience with data structures, semantic models, data quality, lineage, or data governance
  • Proven ability to lead independently, work with ambiguity, and deliver results with limited oversight
  • Strong communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority
  • Demonstrated success leading transformation in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, business transformation, digital transformation, or related consulting/operational roles
  • Strong knowledge of FLIGHT DECK and continuous improvement practices, with evidence of practical business impact
  • Experience establishing or scaling training, communication, and adoption strategies for new processes or digital tools
  • Ability to connect process, people, data, and technology into practical execution plans
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of avionics hardware and/or systems integration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Proactive and independent, with the ability to manage various stakeholders and achieve program execution
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in program/project management
