About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive product and load/unload transportation
- Enter product information into computer systems
- Unpack and deliver product
- Ship material, including outside processing and miscellaneous material
- Process scrap and recycling
- Clean and file materials and records
- Drive a company vehicle locally as needed in all types of weather
- Package material according to specifications
- Perform material handling and product delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Computer literacy; computer skills will be tested
- Familiarity with scanning, faxing, e-mail, Excel, Citrix Apps, Oracle, and other supporting computer programs
- Competence in basic math/algebra; skills will be tested
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision toward established daily goals
- Ability to interact with supervision and production associates
- Familiarity with a manufacturing shop floor
- Willingness to work overtime, often on short notice, as department needs
- Ability to obtain and hold a valid Hi-Lo license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; team lifting required for loads over 50 lbs
- Ability to meet the requirement of being at least 18 years of age by joining
- Must be a U.S. Person for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
