About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead information technology for multiple MRO shops across the United States
- Own the performance, reliability, and availability of local IT infrastructure and applications
- Ensure secure, stable, and compliant operations across supported sites
- Partner with shop teams on digital improvements
- Implement the roadmap for digital improvements across the IT infrastructure and application landscape
- Influence LPBs and below on their decisions
- Represent information technology as part of the Shop leadership team
- Participate in lean and process improvement initiatives and enable business transformation using digital tools
- Work on machine instrumentation initiatives to enhance business operations
- Proactively monitor WAN, LAN, and WLAN network performance and escalate issues
- Build relationships with Central DT product teams to resolve networking and application issues
- Initiate technology obsolescence and improvement projects
- Travel 10–15% as needed to support other sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Broad knowledge of IT disciplines including compute, network and storage platforms
- Strong technical foundation in infrastructure technologies
- Familiarity with business applications in use at the site and awareness of overall business flow
- Familiarity with the digital product catalog and how it fits in with site operations
- Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
