Training and Communication Leader

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and lead a comprehensive, risk-based ITC training and capability development strategy
- Define technical and functional capabilities required for a high-performing ITC organization
- Assess capability gaps and establish targeted development strategies
- Lead bespoke training strategies and learning solutions for individual sites and business units
- Partner with Central Compliance to establish enterprise standards and governance for required ITC training
- Establish training assignment, completion, effectiveness, and continuous-improvement processes
- Partner with the Extended Network Leader on development strategies for individuals executing ITC requirements
- Use compliance data, risk insights, employee feedback, and emerging trends to inform training priorities
- Establish and lead an integrated ITC communications strategy to drive awareness, engagement, accountability, and alignment
- Establish governance, standards, and performance measures for training and communications
- Support organizational transformation and adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Report to the Senior Director – Program & Operations, ITC and partner with ITC leadership, business leaders, site stakeholders, and Central Compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience, or Associate’s degree with minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or High School Diploma with minimum of 12 years of professional experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in compliance training, learning and development, communications, international trade compliance, or a related discipline
- Experience developing enterprise-wide learning or communications strategies within a complex global organization
- Strategic thinking ability to align learning, communications, and development strategies to regulatory requirements, business priorities, and long-term organizational goals
- Experience developing risk-based and role-based learning programs
- Strong program management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication capabilities
- Ability to translate complex regulatory and technical concepts into clear, actionable messaging and learning solutions
- Strong collaboration and change management skills
- Ability to influence across functions and support adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Ability to prove U.S. Person status: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable; employees may be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing
