Key responsibilities & impact

Support procurement and supply of materials needed for production
Help prevent material shortages and maintain production continuity
Manage raw material procurement activities by creating and monitoring purchase orders
Ensure on-time deliveries and maintain supplier communication
Expedite critical orders when necessary
Analyze MRP requirements, demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules
Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize excess stock, and support safety stock management
Maintain supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
Mitigate supply risks and support qualification and onboarding of new suppliers
Monitor raw material inventory and supply flow
Support inventory accuracy and control activities
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to communicate supply constraints
Support resolution of quality and delivery issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Temporary 6-month position
Experience or knowledge in raw material procurement and supply management
Ability to create and monitor purchase orders based on MRP requirements
Ability to analyze MRP requirements, demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules
Ability to monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and responsiveness
Ability to identify shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence risks
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
Ability to support supplier qualification and onboarding
Ability to support resolution of quality and delivery issues
