About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate, comprehensive pediatric neurology care to children across central and northeastern Pennsylvania
- Deliver balanced inpatient and outpatient care
- Provide advanced neuromuscular care
- Participate in the comprehensive epilepsy program, specialized headache care, pediatric sleep medicine, and genetic testing and counseling
- Cover inpatient services for eight weeks annually
- Conduct telemedicine visits
- Care for patients in a Level IV NICU
- Teach residents and medical students
- Participate in research
- Collaborate with a team of 12 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
- Potentially serve as core faculty for the pediatric neurology residency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board certified Pediatric Neurologist
- Expertise in neuromuscular medicine
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (required)
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the state of Pennsylvania
- Patient Care And Procedural Skills
- Professional Etiquette
- Systems-Based Practice
- Neurophysiology or epilepsy training is a plus
