About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Practice Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine across Northeast Pennsylvania
- Manage emergencies in infants and children
- Interview patients to obtain symptoms, medical histories, and family histories
- Perform and/or interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Diagnose injuries and illnesses and design treatment plans
- Prescribe or administer medications
- Prepare, maintain, and review patient records, including histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Work in a clinical and office environment
- Satisfy job-specific obligations and comply with organizational policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Special qualifications to manage emergencies in infants and children
- Patient care and procedural skills
- Professional etiquette
- Systems-based practice
- Ability to work a shift-based schedule
- Position is exempt and regular
- 40 scheduled weekly hours
