About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of the Mobile Diesel Generators product portfolio
  • Leverage customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market data to develop differentiated products
  • Evaluate product and technology landscapes to identify innovation opportunities, product differentiation, and cost optimization
  • Define and size targeted market segments and analyze competitive and regulatory landscapes
  • Identify portfolio gaps and growth opportunities
  • Lead new product development initiatives from business case development and requirements definition through launch
  • Partner with the SIOP team to develop demand forecasts incorporating market growth, regional trends, and product phase-in/phase-out plans
  • Drive margin expansion through strategic pricing, product positioning, and cost optimization
  • Monitor revenue, margin, and market share and adjust strategies to achieve business goals
  • Support go-to-market strategies, product positioning, product launches, sales enablement, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or related fields
  • Effective relationship-building with diverse stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and customers
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data and translate insights into a clear, compelling story
  • Customer advocacy and ability to prioritize customer requirements
  • Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of business operations, strategy, and decision-making
  • Up to 30% travel
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
