About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze product design changes to determine effects on end product design and function
- Prepare documentation required for product design changes
- Coordinate with customers and manufacturers to establish change-reporting processes
- Review released engineering change data and documentation activities for compliance with configuration management procedures and policies
- Collect and maintain blueprints, specifications, schematics, and other technical documentation
- Ensure documents are retained and destroyed according to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Implement document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction processes
- Utilize electronic document/record management systems as needed
- Develop written materials supporting product development, including operations, maintenance, and repair manuals, tutorials, specifications, and help systems
- Interview technical staff to collect product information and specifications
- Organize technical information and product images and coordinate publication layout
- Adhere to terminology, style, and editorial quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Oral and written communication skills

- Ability to remain stationary at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
