About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and lead programs, resources, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions
  • Manage P&L responsibilities for a specific program
  • Implement and administer one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs
  • Execute programs that meet organizational, employee, or customer needs
  • Participate in planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance activities
  • Promote the program throughout the organization and track utilization
  • Supervise program or project staff to ensure work is completed on time and according to standards or specifications
  • Evaluate program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data supporting key performance metrics
  • Ensure activities comply with organizational policies and relevant external regulations
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Experience with Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs)
  • Experience managing technically challenging programs
  • Experience navigating government or defense customer requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
  • Up to 25% travel likely
