About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support program leadership in driving operational performance and business decision-making
  • Provide end-to-end financial oversight for assigned programs
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, earned value management, and long-range planning
  • Collaborate with program managers, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Interpret financial data, identify trends, assess risks, and recommend actions to enhance program efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure financial compliance
  • Support audit and reporting requirements
  • Conduct quantitative analyses affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects
  • Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products, product lines, or business units
  • Track organizational progress against financial goals
  • Report current or expected financial performance
  • Create financial models to guide decision-making
  • Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments
  • Recommend actions or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements
  • Solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance
  • May lead projects or project steps and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Statistical knowledge
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
  • No or very little travel likely
