About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and optimize calibrations to meet performance and timing requirements using Calibration Standard Work
  • Support the team in closing program PRTS and other program issues
  • Develop analytical tools and write scripts to develop RLM tools
  • Capture and analyze empirical data
  • Support and aid virtual calibration development and execution (VDDV)
  • Own delivery of high-quality thermal calibrations for selected BEV3/BET programs
  • Organize, plan, and coordinate calibration activities with calibrators, Lead Calibrator, and Diagnostic Strategist
  • Support procurement of calibration-development resources such as HFT, cold box, and CWT
  • Diagnose and correct vehicle, system, and controls deficiencies
  • Participate in development trips and related test activities
  • Serve as a technical interface between calibration team members, calibration technical specialists, software, and program teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in SW/Controls development, calibration, verification, or validation
  • Experience with in-vehicle testing, including troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Experience with data acquisition and analysis
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability and ability to deal with ambiguity and program-driven changes
  • Strong time management skills while managing multiple projects
  • Ability to contribute to technical projects and work effectively with Local and Global teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Travel under 25% for this role
