About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and structure information on parts, applications, vehicles, attributes, dimensions, weight, images, and catalog data
  • Evaluate relationships between parts and vehicles by model, year, engine, trim level, position, and other characteristics
  • Support the creation, review, and maintenance of application and compatibility data
  • Develop and review catalog information for GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco
  • Support cross-referencing between ACDelco, GM Genuine Parts, and other brands
  • Support the introduction of new product lines and the expansion of existing applications
  • Prepare technical data for publication on websites, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, dealership catalogs, and other digital channels
  • Create and maintain analyses, controls, and reports using spreadsheets, Power BI, KNIME, Databricks, or equivalent tools
  • Use SQL and other tools to analyze large volumes of information
  • Investigate inconsistencies across data sources, catalogs, systems, and digital channels; document findings and recommend corrections
  • Support internal requests related to attributes, dimensions, weight, categories, images, and country-specific applications
  • Collaborate with Engineering, ACDelco, e-commerce, regional teams, suppliers, dealerships, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation of analyses, decisions, data corrections, and process activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and opportunities for standardization or automation
  • Support the preparation of information so dealerships and partners can accurately list parts across sales channels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed or ongoing bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, process analysis, data quality, product catalog management, or related activities
  • Knowledge of handling, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, or processing tools such as Power BI, KNIME, Databricks, Microsoft Access, or equivalent platforms
  • Ability to interpret technical product information and relate it to automotive applications
  • Knowledge of or experience with automotive parts, product catalogs, applications, or vehicle compatibility
  • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency, with the ability to understand technical documentation, interact with teams, and handle product information
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to document analyses and decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical, commercial, and operational teams
  • Spanish proficiency at any level is a plus
  • Preferred experience with automotive catalogs, GM Genuine Parts, ACDelco, e-commerce, marketplaces, digital catalogs, product integration, listing publication, Chevrolet parts, cross-referencing, automation, process standardization, Databricks, KNIME, Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access, or automotive, industrial, supplier, integrator, or technology company environments
  • Immigration sponsorship is not provided; candidates must not require sponsorship from GM now or in the future
