About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary field representative and advocate for OnStar, GM connected services, loyalty, and subscription offerings across an assigned dealer network
- Build trusted relationships with dealer principals, general managers, sales leaders, and service leaders
- Act as liaison between OnStar, GM vehicle brands, and assigned dealerships
- Coach and influence dealership teams to drive adoption, customer engagement, loyalty, and business performance
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews using data and analytics
- Identify opportunities and co-create dealer action plans for continuous improvement and sustainable growth
- Monitor Dealer, District, Zone, and Region performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
- Design and deliver live in-dealership and virtual training on OnStar, My GM Rewards, GM Rewards Credit Card, connected vehicle technologies, and customer onboarding
- Troubleshoot OnStar, GM mobile app, and internal platform issues
- Ensure customers receive setup, enrollment, and ongoing engagement with connected services
- Collaborate with Vehicle Sales, Service & Marketing, Fleet and Commercial Sales, OnStar Digital Services, and Loyalty teams
- Support product and feature launches and align GM and dealer marketing and messaging
- Resolve dealer and customer satisfaction issues
- Provide field feedback on programs, tools, and processes to improve dealer and customer support
- Travel frequently throughout the assigned territory, at least 50% and up to 90%
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of sales, customer service, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to support business needs across assigned time zones, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to utilize and troubleshoot technology platforms, mobile applications, and subscription-based services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 90% within the assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Must currently reside within the territory or be willing to relocate to Alabama or an approved surrounding area within 60 days of the start date
- Must live in an approved city within the assigned territory by the timeline provided at offer
- Must be legally authorized to work without GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review
