About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate Propulsion Thermal Management system requirements, system functions, and Behavioral Test Specifications into traceable system test cases, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated System Behavior Tests and functional system tests across CoSim/SIL environments, with targeted validation on HIL benches and vehicles.
- Validate end-to-end thermal-management behavior, including battery heating and cooling, thermal protection, cabin conditioning, diagnostics, and degraded operating modes.
- Support CoSim package readiness by checking package health, interfaces, configurations, virtual ECU behavior, plant-model connectivity, HWIO behavior, and environment sanity.
- Review automated regression results and isolate product/software defects from modeling, infrastructure, configuration, or test-script issues.
- Document failures, track defects through resolution, and verify corrective actions through retest and regression.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, quality assurance, integration, calibration, and validation teams to define test scope and support milestone readiness.
- Maintain test scripts, procedures, test data, dashboards, and documentation; share lessons learned and reusable test patterns.
- Participate in product, architecture, model, and test-environment reviews, providing feedback on testability, observability, requirements, and verification strategy.
