About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage the Salesforce CRM product portfolio, including strategy, vision, roadmap, investment priorities, and delivery across the end-to-end customer journey
  • Lead, mentor, and empower Product Managers to define and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned to organizational Objectives and Key Results
  • Define and evolve the CRM strategy and product vision to scale Salesforce with GM Energy’s growth, business model, customer base, and operating complexity
  • Establish a connected CRM experience from sales lead generation through lead management, opportunity progression, order handoff, fulfillment, onboarding, service, support, and customer care
  • Develop, lead, and manage the portfolio of work required to deliver Salesforce CRM capabilities and measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Customer Care leaders
  • Drive prioritization and business requirements gathering with technical and functional teams using agile product development practices
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Evaluate Salesforce capabilities, platform features, integrations, and industry practices
  • Coordinate the full CRM product lifecycle from discovery through retirement
  • Maintain an outcome-oriented product roadmap documenting rationale, business value, dependencies, and expected customer impact
  • Define release processes and partner with cross-functional teams to launch products, features, and process changes
  • Develop and maintain metrics, service-level agreements, health indicators, and continuous-improvement plans
  • Use customer insights, operational data, dashboards, and performance reporting to identify opportunities and improve outcomes
  • Translate business and technology challenges into scalable CRM solutions
  • Apply AI capabilities, including predictive insights, automation, intelligent recommendations, and generative AI, to improve CRM productivity and customer outcomes
  • Manage dependencies and integrations with Order Management Systems, eCommerce, Marketing, data platforms, AI services, telephony, installation providers, and customer care technologies
  • Develop and execute adoption plans for new capabilities, releases, AI-enabled features, processes, and ways of working
  • Report to the Director, Software Products, GM Energy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, marketing, technology, or technical field required
  • 8–10+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise platforms or business-critical products
  • 6+ years of experience working with Salesforce, CRM platforms, or related customer and sales technologies
  • Experience owning the end-to-end CRM customer journey, from lead generation and sales execution through fulfillment, service, support, and customer care
  • Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Experience defining and executing product strategy, vision, roadmaps, and scaling plans for a CRM or enterprise platform
  • GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role; applicants must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Salesforce certification is a plus
